Democracy
The Respect for Democracy Campaign is a project of the Alliance for Global Justice. Under this project, our work focuses on the concept of democracy promotion. We are particularly interested in the disconnect between how “democracy” has been co-opted and supposedly supported through undemocratic institutions. The majority of our research on this topic has focused on being a watchdog for the actions of the inappropriately named National Endowment for Democracy.
