As the November 23 deadline looms, the Congressional Super Committee continues to deliberate on the fate of crucial human services. This week there are actions you must take to pump up the pressure on the your Senator and Congressional Representative.

Every dollar that goes to the Pentagon will be taken from jobs creation, health care, education, housing and rebuilding infrastructure.

Again making the 99% pay for the crisis that the 1% created!

It isn’t a deficit crisis, it’s a revenue crisis. The rich and corporations must pay their fair share and move the money from the Pentagon to human services and create jobs.

11/16 Wednesday: Join Progressive Democrats of America’s monthly Brown Bag Lunch Congressional office is focused on the Super Committee and the Financial Transaction Tax. Find a vigil near you Go to Peace Action’s Move the Money Toolkit, printout a leaflet and add your local organization and contact information and participate.

11/17 Thursday: Join Rebuild the Dream, in a national day of local action in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street (OWS).

Find an action in your area, if you are not already connected to the Occupy movement.

Use the educational leaflets from Peace Action’s Move the Money Toolkit to drive the message “move the money from the Pentagon to fund jobs creation and human services”.
