Chargé D’affaires to the U.S. Lautaro Sandino at the Resist NATO Summit in Washington, DC

Nicaragua’s Chargé D’affaires to the U.S. Lautaro Sandino joined hundreds of activists on July 6-8, 2024 as a special guest to the Resist NATO Summit and 6th International Conference of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform in Washington, DC. In his keynote speech to the Resist NATO Summit, Sandino discusses 45 years of the Sandinista Revolution, international solidarity and resistance to the 75th Anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO).

In an interview following the Resist NATO Summit, Sandino discusses the 45th Anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution and the resilience of the Bolivarian Revolution in light of Venezuela’s upcoming July 28 elections at the #ResistNATO Summit in Washington, DC.

Sandino also attended the 6th International Conference of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform, where he discussed myths about NATO, its expansion in the Global South and Latin American resistance to hybrid warfare.
