An Alliance for Global Justice delegation met with Venezuela’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for North America Carlos Ron in Caracas, in the days preceding the July 28 presidential election. We discussed Venezuela’s electoral process, U.S. unilateral coercive measures on Venezuela and diplomatic relations between Venezuela and the United States.
