Happy Earth Day! We’re still here, Earth’s still here. Life is good and those who can, should enjoy it. But, more than ever, Earth Day is a day for renewed resistance and eco-defense.
Among the very first actions taken by Donald Trump as he ascended to the presidency were a series of decrees that represent a declaration of war against the planet and its people. With this release of AFGJ’s Eco-Solidarity Update 5, we report on all this along with several informative special features, including a detailed analysis by Tanya Nuñez that makes the links between US supported war and militarism in Eastern Europe, Palestine, and Cuba, and capitalist exploitation of nature.
