Washington alone has frozen $342 million held by the Central Bank and seized state oil company PDVSA’s US subsidiary, CITGO. Delcy Rodriguez stated, “stated that “in high-income countries, one in four citizens is vaccinated; in middle-income countries, it is one in 500 citizens.”

Venezuelanalysis: Venezuela Secures Deal with UN’s World Food Program to Supply Food to 1.5 Million Children by the end of 2023. The program is expected to serve 185,000 children this year. According to a 2019 report from the UN agency, 7.9 percent of the Venezuelan population face severe food insecurity, whereas 24.4 percent face moderate insecurity.
