We will be hearing from members of the Embassy Protection Collective who spent 37 days in the Venezuela Embassy in DC defending it from take over by pro-coup actors and attempting to prevent an escalation of US aggression in Venezuela.They now face up to a year in jail and $100,000 fines after being arrested on May 16 in violation of international law.
We will get an update on their trial as they take the fight to the courts and put US Foreign Policy on trial. Protectors will talk about US war being waged against Venezuela and what we can do to stop it. They’ll share details of what it was like staying in the Embassy while under siege as a pro-coup mob surrounded the building 24/7 with tents and security patrols.
