The Global Justice Center (GJC) is a hub for progressive grassroots organizing, movement-building, and education in Tucson, Arizona. Originally repurposed from the iconic Star Dust Lounge in 2013 by the Alliance for Global Justice, the GJC now serves as a shared office and event space for social justice organizations dedicated to movement work. Booking An Event

You must complete a booking request form to use the space. Do not use the building without confirmed authorization. Please submit your request 7 business days prior to your event date. We still may be able to accommodate your event if it’s within that window but cannot guarantee it. You will receive an email from us when your event has been approved. If you do not hear from us, your event has not been scheduled.

**At this time, we are only accepting requests from tenant and associated groups. Please check back later for update on availability**

We reserve the right to deny permission at our sole discretion, any event that we believes violates our purpose and values.

Location and Parking

The GJC is located at 225 E 26th St., Tucson, AZ 85713.

The parking area for the GJC is just in front of the building. Please do not park in El Torero’s parking lot (east of the GJC) nor the spaces across the street from the GJC. If the GJC parking areas are full, there are plenty of parking spaces on the nearby residential streets. For weekend events the City of South Tucson has granted the AfGJ permission to use their employee parking facilities at 26th St. and 5th Ave.

Event Calendar

Our public events are often listed on the Tucson Peace Calendar, which we encourage folks to check out.
